9 regras do Coiote e Papaléguas
Even If you’re a big fan of “Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote”, it’s possible that you don’t know this fact: Chuck Jones, the creator of the cartoon, wrote nine rules for the animation. He did that ‘cause he was working with a big team, and it was indeed necessary to avoid losing control of the final product. But what’s curious is that he never publicized those rules to his mates. Even so, if you read the rules, you notice they’ve always been respected.
We got thrilled with all this story and decided to make a project about it during our fridays (it’s the weekday we save to dedicate ourselves to our own ideas). We had a great time dipping into a new product for us and, at the same time, using our skills. Combining typography, graphic art and illustration, we made a zine.
Printing was interesting because we had to worry about the limits of the colors. Since we were using risograph printing, we couldn’t overlap different layers, so the result was kind of rustic. Actually, we believe limitation can make design richer and more creative.
